This month we honor the throat chakra. The fifth chakra is the Visuddha chakra or the throat chakra. This chakra is associated with speaking your truth, but it is also about listening. Listening to the quiet voice inside you to find the truth. The work of the fifth chakra is to allow the music of life to express itself with harmony.
When this chakra is balanced, we are truthful and coherent. When we lack energy in this chakra, we feel shy, quiet, and constricted in the throat. When we have excessive energy in this chakra, we feel loud, scattered, and talk too much.
