Gratitude Meditation

Gratitude is the appreciation of what is valuable and meaningful to oneself and represents a general state of thankfulness and/or appreciation” (Sansone & Sansone, 2010).

All emotions carry a vibrational energy. Some have a low, heavy vibration like depression, grief, and sadness. In contrast love, joy, and happiness have a lighter or high vibration. Gratitude has the highest vibrational energy. Expressing gratitude raises your vibrational energies and the vibrational energies of those around you.

Starting a daily gratitude meditation practice is a great way to remember to express gratitude and keep your vibrational energies high. This practice does not have to take a long time. A few minutes each daily has a cumulative effect on your emotions and energy.

Adding crystals to the meditation can increase the effects. As you meditate and give thanks hold the crystals in your hands. Imagine the energy of gratitude infusing in the crystals. When you are done with the meditation place the crystals in your pocket, purse or on your desk. This will allow the high vibration of gratitude to stay with you through out the day.
